Apator many times proved that the role of the company is not only the business. Since many years, the Company has been giving the support to artists and people related to art. It is the sponsor for many significant cultural events both local and nationwide ones.
Nationwide Contest of Tuba Satyrica - humoristic-satiric picture is destined to the artists who particularly are very fond of caricature or artistic picture as the way of expression and explanation of surrounding phenomena and events. This year, the task of the participants in the contest was to illustrate the catchword "It could be worse". The jury of the contest awarded the most interesting works submitted to it. Grand Prix and financial award was endowed by Apator and it was presented to Krzysztof Grządziela.
"Probaltica" - Music and Art Festival of the Baltic Countries. Its XVIII edition was organized in 2011. During two weeks in May in Toruń, Grudziądz and Warsaw were held concerts of extraordinary artists and composers making approach of culture of the Baltic Countries to the audience. In this year's edition of the festival were 13 concerts held where the skills of artists from Poland, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Germany, Sweden and Denmark were presented. Apator since many years has been the sponsor of "Probaltica" Music and Art Festival.
Since many years, Apator has given the support to organizers of International Biennale of Children and Youth Graphics – the event that joints and gives inspiration to young artists from several dozen countries. This year, during XVIII edition of the contest young creators for the following time presented beautiful graphics that proved great artistic sensibility and extraordinary manual skill. Jury of the contest made a review of 13367 works submitted from 44 countries. Apator is the sponsor of awards for all the finalists and persons who were distinct in the contest. Additionally, special award was presented for the work that was particularly enchanting. The winner of Apator's award was 16-year Kasia Hałejak from Dąbrowa Górnicza.
We have also honour to aid the activity of artists. The cooperation with Sławek Wierzcholski famous bluesman from Toruń leader of the group "Nocna zmiana bluesa" followed the edition of the record "Friday Night" which has won the name of "Golden record" and the organization of exceptional harmonica festival "Harmonica Top".
Cosmic Underground is the artistic train that traveled on the turn of September and October 2012 all over Europe from Estonia to Portugal. It stopped at the railway stations in particular countries where they made unusual theatre spectacles.
On 12 platforms of the railway carriages, the artists from Poland, Estonia, Latvia and Portugal created exceptional artistic event where the idea was philosophical problems inspired by the prose of Stanisław Lem. Cargo carriages of artistic train became the basis for many meetings and creative discussions of artists and enthusiasts of art.
The organizer of the undertaking was Platon Foundation named Kuba Rumiński in Toruń, Apator was the partner of the event.
