Intrinsically safe measuring transducer IPP-CR is an electronic device, used in automatics systems, in underground coal mines. Intrinsically safe measuring transducer IPP-CR is used to measure linear velocity, or rotational speed in cooperation with inductive gauge CI-4i, produced by Apator Mining Sp. z o.o. The transducer measures the analog signal parameters, induced in the inductive gauge, and converts them into values sent through digital transmission, and controls position of execution relays. In standard edition of IPP-CR, with right configuration of relays setpoints installed in the transducer, you can control the drive, or use them to secure the appliances from exceeding the maximum/minimum speed. It is also possible to use the digital transmission in an automation system, and through a driver, control the speed of the device. Transducers meet the requirements of the European Directive 2014/34/UE (ATEX) for equipment in group I, category M2, and can be used in methane and coal dust explosion hazardous areas of underground mines.
