PBD fuse bases are a fixed component of an industrial fuse, suitable for blade-type fuse links and designed to integrate them into the current path of electrical power distribution equipment. The bases are made of flame-retardant plastic, with copper jaw contacts—galvanically tin-plated—screwed onto them in sizes 00, 1, 2. Versions PBD F have silver-plated, whilst in size 3, the contacts are silver-plated as standard. They may be installed at ambient temperatures ranging from -25°C to +55°C, at altitudes up to 2000 m above sea level, and outdoors in enclosures with IP34 protection degree or higher.
