Application
 

PBD fuse bases are a fixed component of an industrial fuse, suitable for fuse links and designed to integrate them into the current path of electrical power distribution equipment. The bases are made of flame-retardant plastic, with copper jaw contacts. The contacts of PBD size 3 are silver-plated as standard. The fuse bases are intended for installation in enclosed spaces (free from dust, corrosive or explosive gases), such as:

  • LV cable distribution and utility cabinets,
  • LV switchgear for industrial and power distribution,
  • LV switchgear for reactive power compensation.


They may be installed at ambient temperatures ranging from -25°C to +55°C, at altitudes up to 2000 m above sea level, and outdoors in enclosures with IP34 protection degree or higher.
