The RAB isolating series switch disconnectors with fuses are designed for energy distribution, the connection of electrical equipment and the protection of such equipment against the effects of short circuits and overloads in three-phase networks. They can be used as:

  • main and feeder switch disconnectors in switchgear,
  • isolating switches,
  • switch disconnectors for controlling and protecting electric motors and other AC equipment






     

The isolating switch disconnectors with fuses are designed for installation in enclosed spaces free from dust, corrosive and explosive gases:

  • in temperate, tropical (T) and marine (M) climates,
  • at ambient temperatures ranging from -25°C to +55°C,
  • at altitudes up to 2000 m above sea level.


They may be installed outdoors in enclosures (cabinets) with IP34 protection degree or higher.
