The management system at Apator SA

Increasing customer demands and growing, often global, competition are forcing companies to constantly seek better solutions that enable them to continuously improve product quality, achieve reduction in costs and create effective work processes and management structures. One such solution is the implementation of a quality management system within the company based on the PN-EN-ISO 9001:2015 standard.

Out of concern for the natural environment, the Company’s Management Board, on behalf of the entire workforce, undertakes to comply with the requirements of applicable legal regulations regarding environmental aspects within the company, including: emissions into the atmosphere, wastewater and waste generated. This declaration of compliance stems both from applicable legal regulations and from the provisions contained in the environmental management system developed in accordance with the PN EN ISO 14001:2015 standard. The above requirements are also met through the development of product designs based on environmentally friendly materials and technological processes. By implementing an environmental management system and an occupational health and safety management system in accordance with PN ISO 45001:2018, the company not only commits to protecting the natural environment, but also ensures safe operating conditions and significantly reduces its production costs. In order to safeguard the organisation’s information assets, an information security management system in accordance with PN-EN ISO/IEC 27001:2013 has been implemented within the company. The measures taken by the Company are focused on ensuring information security across all its information processing systems, taking into account the protection of the interests of the Company, its shareholders, as well as its customers and business partners.

Senior management manages the company by implementing measures within, amongst other things, the quality management system, the environmental management system, the occupational health and safety management system, and the information security management system. Information security management policies aimed at ensuring the highest standards of information protection in the tasks carried out and maintaining a high level of security for the information contained in the products offered

The scope of all implemented and maintained standards covers the design, manufacture and sale of measuring equipment and systems, switchgear, control and drive automation systems, power distribution and control systems for the energy sector and industry, control and protection automation systems for the energy sector, RES solutions and ICT solutions

The activities carried out within the system focus not only on products, their functional characteristics and operational safety, but also on employees. Consequently, in striving for the best possible market and economic results, we commit to: continuously ensuring good operating conditions, preventing accidents at work, occupational diseases and near-miss incidents, implementing solutions to ensure information security at every stage of its processing, and protecting the environment, including the prevention of pollution with particular emphasis on effective waste management. Furthermore, we are committed to ensuring that the company’s operations are conducted in accordance with applicable standards and regulations. The continuous development of our employees’ skills, and focusing their attention on product quality, environmental protection, occupational safety and information security, enables the systematic development of the system whilst taking into account the role of our employees.

Certificates

The Integrated Management System covering: Quality Management, Environmental Management, Information Security and Cybersecurity Management, Occupational Health and Safety Management, and Energy Management has been assessed and approved for standards compliance (ISO certificate):

MID

On 29 December 2009, Apator SA received a quality management system certificate.

This document confirms that the electricity meters meet the requirements of the MID quality system in accordance with Module D (production quality assurance). The company has also successfully passed the tests and obtained MID certification in accordance with Module B (this means that the design of the electricity meters meets the requirements of the directive).

Software Asset Management (SAM) Certificate

The Management Board of Apator SA ensures that the software used on the company’s computers is legal. To this end, annual licence audits are carried out. SAM certificates, awarded following the completion of a licence compliance review, serve as proof of compliance with licence terms.
