Robotization and automation in the Apator Group’s production facilities

robot3

Automated machines and production lines are becoming an increasingly common sight in manufacturing companies. Production centres across all sectors are turning to modern solutions, having realised that robotization and automation improve product quality through process consistency and increase production volumes.

Thanks to these changes, we are able to produce goods of the same quality much more quickly. A key aspect of the automation process is the design of machines, production lines and technological processes, as well as their commissioning and implementation. Behind these solutions stands a team of engineers and automation specialists; within the Apator Group, the Robotization and Automation Department is responsible for implementing modern solutions in the main production centres: in Ostaszewo, Tczew and at the new factory in Jaryszki near Poznań.

Our projects

in production facilities

In Ostaszewo, as part of our efforts to expand our compentencies in automation processes within the electronics industry, we have implemented a system for testing and programming PCBs. The PCB testing line, which utilises thermoformed trays, increases production efficiency by nearly 50%. Thanks to the application of automatic stackers and destackers, we have achieved operational autonomy of up to several hours. At Apator Metrix in Tczew, we have commissioned a magnet lubrication machine and an automatic lift rack with an electrically supplied power supply for the shelves. The modern plant in Jaryszki – the headquarters of Apator Powogaz – has acquired a line for the installation of water meter mechanisms featuring five robots. It is there that we designed and commissioned a water meter verification line measuring over 9 metres in length.

We apply the experience we have gained in our own manufacturing companies to the solutions we offer our clients. We also specialise in optimising robotic installation, palletising and depalletising processes, automated operation of production machinery, and pick-and-place processes. For manufacturing companies across various industries, we develop machines for the automation of processes such as welding, soldering, cutting and ultrasonic welding of plastics, as well as bonding and dispensing systems.
