Debate entitled ‘Poland’s Development Strategy to 2035 and the Risks of Poland’s Energy Transition’

Maciej Wyczesany, Chairman of the Management Board of Apator SA, took part in a strategic meeting organised by the THINKTANK Leaders Hub entitled ‘Poland’s development strategy up to 2035 and the risks of Poland’s energy transition’. The meeting took place on 16 October 2025 in Sopot during the European Forum for New Ideas.

The THINKTANK debate showed that Poland’s energy transition has entered a decision-making phase. The risks of the transition were discussed – ranging from financing and the grid to public acceptance. Experts agreed that the challenge is no longer whether the transition will happen, but how to manage it so that it is safe, fair and effective.
