PBD fusebases are a fixed component of an industrial fuse, suitable for blade-type fuse links and designed to integrate them into the current path of electrical power distribution equipment. The bases are made of flame-retardant plastic, with copper jaw contacts—galvanically tin-plated—screwed onto them in sizes 00, 1, 2. They may be installed at ambient temperatures ranging from -25°C to +55°C, at altitudes up to 2000 m above sea level, and outdoors in enclosures with a degree of protection of IP34 or higher.
