The 4G cam switches are low-voltage switches designed in accordance with the latest developments in switchgear technology and utilising the latest technical advancements. Only high-quality insulating and contact materials are used in their construction. The basic components and assemblies are standardised and mass-produced, which allows for the manufacture of switches with any connection configuration and enables short delivery times. The switches can be produced in various designs and are suitable for a wide range of applications. They meet all the requirements for low-voltage connectors in industry, mining, shipbuilding, etc. They can be used as manually operated connectors in transformer stations, control cabinets and panels, cast iron and sheet metal switchgears, welding machines and other similar equipment.

Application

Cam switches have an application in main and auxiliary circuits, and in particular:
  • as motor contactors for connecting and controlling drives with single-phase and three-phase motors,
  • as star-delta change-over switches, direction and speed change-over switches, etc., in auxiliary, control, alarm outputs and measuring circuits, manufactured in accordance with the required connection scheme,
  • as circuit-breakers, change-over switches I-0-II and tap changers, e.g. in transformers and electric welders,
  • as group change-over switches, e.g. for connecting resistors and heating elements,
  • as change-over switches with automatic return to the initial position,
  • as isolating switches.
