RM and RMt indoor MV (medium voltage) switchgear is designed for the energy distribution at a rated voltage of up to 24 kV in transformer substations for industrial and commercial power supply

This is a switchgear unit with a single insulated busbar system, designed for the distribution, metering and power supply of electricity to equipment in the power sector and industry

Options

The RMt-20 MW switchgear can have up to 4 bays with a pitch of 690 mm, fitted with OR4 24 TU2, OR5 24 T2-A or OM-24/T/UD/160 switch disconnectors; OMB-24/T/BD/160 disconnectors, surge arresters and transformers in a configuration as per the customer’s requirements. The busbar system consists of insulated round bars bridging the individual switch disconnectors.

Certificates and approvals

The RMt-20 MV switchgear (medium voltage) has been tested as part of the STKB 20/630 station tests at the Institute of Power Engineering in Warsaw – certificate no. 475. It complies with the requirements of standard PN-EN 60298:2000.

  • IEC 1330 – High-voltage/low-voltage prefabricated substations IEC 298 Amendment 1 – A.C. metal-enclosed switchgear and controlgear for rated voltages above 1 kV and up to and including 52 kV

  • PN-86/E-05155 [IEC 694] – Electrical power equipment. High-voltage switchgear and controlgear. Common tests and requirements

  • PN-92/E-08106 [IEC 529] – Degrees of protection provided by enclosures (IP rating)

Along with the switchgears, we supply a factory certificate containing:

  • a declaration of standards compliance
  • a declaration of conformity with the technical documentation
  • voltage test report
