The BELplus ARN controller is designed for implementing automatic voltage regulation in the power grid using a regulating transformer with a change-over switch I-0-II for on-load adjustment. The controller’s display panel graphically presents information including the tap number, change-over switch I-0-II count, voltage and current measurements, the direction of the current voltage deviation from the setpoint, the percentage value of the set voltage regulation in Un, indication of the change-over switch I-0-II’s extreme positions, as well as information regarding change-over switch I-0-II control and motor operation.
The controller is fully integrated with the windEX remote monitoring system: it transmits information to it in event mode regarding changes in the status of the change-over switch I-0-II, interlocks, alarms, as well as measurement data for basic electrical parameters (currents, voltages).
