The BELplus TWNZ unit provides protection for transformer substations, featuring a comprehensive set of protection functions for such facilities, including overcurrent and earth-fault protection, etc.
In addition to its protection functions, the device also acts as a telemechanics controller (telemetry, telesignalling and telecontrol), a fault recorder and a slow-changing waveform recorder, as well as a master controller for other devices at the substation.
