Find out what the MST 2 controller has to offer
The MST 2 is a modular remote terminal unit module designed for the remote monitoring and control of HV, MV and LV substations and switchgear, enabling flexible configuration of measurement and control functions. It is a modular remote terminal unit module (RTU) enabling the construction of remote control and supervison systems for power facilities, designed for installation in substations, switchgear and in extra-high, high and medium voltage fields.
The controller modules perform functions such as reading signals characterising the operation of equipment (e.g. telemetry and telecontrol), remote control of specific parameter groups (telecommands), and communication with digital IEDs operating at the power station.
Depending on its configuration, the MST 2 controller can perform functions including those of a centralised telemechanics controller, a digital device concentrator (for protection devices, field terminals, etc.) and a field terminal.
Thanks to its modular design, the controller can be easily expanded with new functions, and the very wide range of parameters subject to software configuration allows the device to be optimally adapted to the facility’s needs.
