The IN-WMBUS adapter is an inductive Wireless M-Bus radio module designed for cooperation with residential, domestic and industrial water meters manufactured by Apator Powogaz S.A. The device is mounted directly onto the water meter’s dial, without affecting its metrological characteristics. The overlay scans the dedicated dial pointer using an inductive system, detecting the direction of its rotation, which allows for the remote transmission of actual readings from water meters. The module can be mounted on a movable counter assembly (rotation up to 358°), which facilitates installation and reading of the counter in difficult operating conditions. The ability to set individual flow profiles for specific water meter applications enables comprehensive analyses and diagnostics of their operation, thanks in part to transmitted alarms and historical records stored in the device’s memory.
