Employee engagement programmes
At the Apator Group, we run employee engagement schemes that encourage staff to share ideas, suggest improvements and get involved in development initiatives. We want to harness the knowledge and experience of our team members to continuously improve our company and implement innovations.
At Apator SA, we have been running the Employee Ideas Programme for many years. Employees have the opportunity to suggest improvements not only in their own roles but also across the entire company. If an idea is accepted and implemented, the employee can expect to receive a reward, in accordance with the criteria for evaluating ideas. The following aspects are assessed: impact on quality, impact on productivity, innovation, cost savings, health and safety and environmental protection, communication and work processes. An additional incentive for employees are the annual awards presented in the categories of best team and best idea.
A similar concept underpins the SGA ( Small Group Activity) programmeimplemented at Apator Powogaz. It involves engaging employees who work in small project groups to address specific issues. In the second edition of the programme, held in 2024, seven projects were completed, contributing to improved operational processes, reduction in operational costs, and streamlined administrative procedures.
The programme demonstrated that bottom-up initiatives have enormous power and a real impact on building a LEAN culture within the organisation. At the same time, the programme benefited team members by developing or building new skills.
