PBD fusebases are a fixed component of an industrial fuse, suitable for accommodating a blade-type fuse link and integrating it into the current path of electrical power distribution equipment. The bases are made of flame-retardant plastic, with copper jaw contacts—galvanically tin-plated—screwed onto them in sizes 00, 1, 2. On special request, contacts in these sizes can be silver-plated, whilst in size 3, the contacts are silver-plated as standard. Fusebases are intended for installation in enclosed spaces (free from dust, corrosive or explosive gases), such as:
