The Executive Board of Apator SA announces that the subsidiary Apator Metrix SA has been selected as the supplier of smart gas meters under the mass roll out of smart meters in Belgium.

Merger of Belgian distribution system operators (Fluvius, ORES, RESA and Sibelga) chose the offer of Landis+Gyr (Belgium) as the most favourable one for the delivery of comprehensive "Data-as-a-Service" solution (DaaS), consisting of central master system and the delivery of smart meters.

Therefore, Apator Metrix SA, as a partner of Landis+Gyr, in the period 2023 - 2031 will deliver approx. 1 million of iSMART2 smart gas meters of the value of approx. EUR 65 million (i.e. approx. PLN 300 million, according to the average exchange rate of NBP from 27th July 2021, 1 EUR= 4.5954 PLN).

The contract between Apator Metrix and Landis+Gyr will be concluded at the turn of III/IV quarter of 2021. Terms and conditions of the tender including regulations in the scope of liability, obligations and guarantees do not differ from market conditions used in such type of tenders in EU.

Apator Metrix SA, as one of the main manufacturers of gas meters in Europe with the production scaled to ca. 2 million units per year, is technologically and operationally prepared to perform the implementation.
