Apator Powogaz Awarded the EcoVadis Bronze Medal

Apator Powogaz S.A. has been awarded the EcoVadis Bronze Medal . EcoVadis is one of the world’s most widely recognized platforms for assessing companies' sustainability performance and responsible business practices.

 

Assessment across four key areas
 

The EcoVadis rating covers four areas that are fundamental to sustainability and responsible business conduct:

  • Environment
  • Labour and human rights
  • Ethics
  • Sustainable procurement

 

The assessment process evaluated the activities, procedures and documentation in place at Apator Powogaz, as well as selected solutions and standards applicable at the Apator Group level. As a result, the assessment covers both the activities carried out directly within the Company and the Group's broader approach to sustainability and corporate responsibility.

This was Apator Powogaz's first EcoVadis assessment. The company scored 72 out of 100 points, achieving the 82nd percentile, which means its score was higher than that of approximately 82% of the companies assessed in its industry.

 

A solid foundation for further development

 

The result achieved serves as a valuable benchmark for the continued development of Apator Powogaz's ESG initiatives. The assessment helps to identify the organisation’s strengths while also highlighting areas with potential for further improvement.

 

EcoVadis is also an increasingly important factor in business relationships. A growing number of companies use sustainability assessments as part of their supplier qualification and evaluation processes. The result achieved demonstrates Apator Powogaz's commitment to transparency and reinforces the Company's responsible approach to doing business.

 

The EcoVadis Bronze Medal marks an important milestone in Apator Powogaz's sustainability journey and reflects the Company's commitment to meeting the evolving expectations of customers and business partners.
