Apator Powogaz wins a bronze medal from EcoVadis

Apator Powogaz S.A. has been awarded the EcoVadis bronze medal . EcoVadis is one of the world’s most recognised systems for assessing companies in terms of sustainability and responsible business practices.

Assessment across four key areas

The EcoVadis rating covers four areas that are crucial from the perspective of sustainability and responsible business:

• Environment
• Labour and human rights
• Ethics
• Sustainable procurement

The assessment process took into account the activities, procedures and documentation in place at Apator Powogaz, as well as selected solutions and standards applicable at the Apator Group level. As a result, the assessment covers both the activities carried out directly within the Company and the Group’s broader approach to sustainability.

This was the first EcoVadis assessment carried out for Apator Powogaz. The company scored 72 out of 100, achieving the 82nd percentile, which means its score is higher than that of approximately 82 per cent of the companies assessed in our sector.

An important benchmark for further development

The result achieved serves as an important benchmark for the further development of Apator Powogaz’s ESG activities. The assessment helps to identify the organisation’s strengths, as well as areas requiring further improvement.

EcoVadis is also a key element of business cooperation. An increasing number of companies are using sustainability assessments in their supplier qualification and evaluation processes. The result achieved supports Apator Powogaz’s transparency and confirms the Company’s approach to responsible business conduct.

The EcoVadis Bronze medal represents an important step for Apator Powogaz in the further development of its sustainability practices and a response to the growing expectations of customers and business partners.
