Ultrimis PRO wins the Red Dot Design Award 2026

Ultrimis PRO – the latest ultrasonic water meter for use in commercial networks, developed by Apator Powogaz – has been honoured with the prestigious Red Dot Design Award 2026 in the Product Design category. The awards ceremony took place on 7 July 2026, bringing together winners from around the world and marking the culmination of one of the most highly regarded industrial design competitions.

The Red Dot Design Award is international recognition of the highest quality of design and product innovation. The jury commended the Ultrimis PRO for its combination of measurement precision, functionality and a sustainable approach to design.

Ultrimis PRO is a modern ultrasonic water meter which, thanks to bidirectional flow measurement, enables the early detection of irregularities and leaks, helping to reduce water losses in commercial networks. Its design, which has no moving parts, ensures high durability and maintenance-free operation, whilst its modular communication capabilities – including LoRaWAN technology – enable integration with remote reading systems and Smart City solutions.

The award-winning product was designed in cooperation with the industrial design studio TABOR DESIGN and manufactured by the Apator Powogaz team in Żerniki. The Red Dot Design Award 2026 is a testament to the team’s expertise and their consistent strategy of developing innovative solutions for modern water management.
