Find out what the smartESOX meter has to offer
smartESOX is a multi-tariff, four-quadrant electricity meter designed for three-phase, 3- or 4-wire networks. It is suitable for customers supplied at high, medium, or low voltage levels and is compatible with all tariff groups. It offers extensive measurement and data recording capabilities, along with a wide range of communication options, making it an optimal solution for advanced applications in modern energy management systems. Designed for customers in tariff groups A, B and C, it can also operate as a balancing meter.
Measurement of instantaneous, maximum, and excess and cumulative power
Measurement of transformer losses: OLA, NLA, OLR, NLR, I²t, U²t
Measurement of network parameters: voltages, currents, voltage and current harmonics, frequency, THD, unbalance factor, and neutral current
Monitoring of network parameters: voltage drops and surges, prolonged power supply outages, current and voltage imbalance, current flow without voltage, absence of current flow, and current exceeding the threshold
Semi-indirect or CT/VT connections via current transformers and, optionally, voltage transformers
Energy metering in six tariff zones, switched by a built-in real-time clock
Extensive options for recording measured parameters:
- at least 3 independently configurable profiles
- configurable recording intervals
- large memory capacity
- power quality profile – optional
Extensive measurement data recording capabilities
Extensive event logging
- 7 event groups recorded in independent logs
- at least 400 events in each log
- sending immediate event notifications to a host device/system
Extensive options for recording measured parameters during billing periods
- up to 50 parameters recorded during billing periods
DLMS/COSEM communication protocol
Three built-in communication ports: one optical and two serial ports
Replaceable communication module: 2G/3G/4G (optional NB-IoT)
Built-in backup power supply connected to an external power source
Energy readings can be viewed on the display even when there is no mains power supply – powered by a replaceable AA battery
