In most cases, in addition to providing the gearbox code itself, it is also necessary to specify the model of the motor with which the gearbox is to be used. This is because the correct adapter flange must be selected to ensure that the gearbox can be easily integrated with the motor.

If the gearbox is ordered based on a selection from the catalogue, then yes, but if the order is for spare parts for an existing machine, this is not always the case.

In some cases, the gearbox forms an integral part of the entire gearmotor, and the motor’s output shaft is part of the gearbox. In such cases, it is necessary to order the entire gearmotor.

Due to the wide range of possible configurations, we do not keep a stock of ready-made gearboxes. However, the delivery time for a gearbox custom-made to the customer’s specifications is usually very short.
