Central Cathodic Protection Monitoring System (CSMOK)

Monitor, diagnose and manage cathodic protection in a single system

The benefits of implementing CSMOK in your infrastructure

CSMOK is a cathodic protection monitoring system that collects data from measuring devices and protection stations, analyses it and presents it in a single, intuitive dashboard. It enables you to effectively monitor the condition of your infrastructure, detect corrosion risks more quickly and make decisions based on reliable data. By choosing a central Cathodic Protection Monitoring System (CSMOK), you enhance the safety of your infrastructure and reduce the risk of costly failures.
The CSMOK system enables you to optimise operating costs and improve the efficiency of installation monitoring. By using it, you can, amongst other things:

remotely control cathodic protection equipment without the need for on-site work,

minimise the risk of breakdowns and unplanned downtime,

analyse the effectiveness of corrosion protection,

document maintenance work and measurements in a single system,

generate reports and summaries tailored to technical and formal requirements,

to illustrate the condition of the cathodic protection system in relation to the infrastructure.

Who is CSMOK intended for?

Infrastructure managers

CSMOK provides full control over the condition of pipeline networks, steel structures and cathodic protection stations. With a centralised view of the data, you can plan maintenance more easily, minimise downtime and make informed investment decisions.

Diagnosticians and maintenance staff

The system provides detailed measurement data and a history of equipment operation, enabling a precise assessment of the effectiveness of cathodic protection. It also allows for the rapid identification of areas at risk of corrosion and remote diagnostics without the need for site visits.

Gas network operators

CSMOK supports the continuity of supply in the gas industry through the continuous monitoring of gas pipelines and cathodic protection stations. The system minimises the risk of failures and the resulting disruptions to supply, ensuring standards compliance and adherence to legal requirements.

Frequently Asked Questions

Yes. CSMOK is compatible not only with Apator devices, but also with those from other manufacturers, provided they use the standard communication protocols employed in cathodic protection.

It depends on the type of device. Devices connected online can be queried as frequently as every few minutes. Battery-powered devices, for energy-saving reasons, send data according to their own schedule, e.g. once a day.

Both options are available. The system can be installed on-premises or operated as a SaaS solution, depending on the customer’s preferences and requirements.
