Physical activity is an important part of our company culture. We support our employees’ sporting interests: together we go running, cycling, and play football and volleyball. We take part in local and national events, such as the Bacchus Wine Harvest Run, the Zielona Góra Ultramarathon, and the Cycling Capital of Poland.
We support those in need by getting involved in various charitable campaigns, including ‘Szlachetna Paczka’ and ‘Dobro Pączkuje’. We organise fundraisers for local associations supporting children and the elderly, as well as for the Zielona Góra animal shelter. For our participation in social projects, we have received the “Socially Responsible Business” award.
We organise company and team-building events that strengthen cooperation and foster a positive atmosphere among employees. Every year, on the 256th calendar day, we celebrate Rectorian Day, which forms part of the celebrations for Programmers’ Day – this is an opportunity for us to celebrate technology, passion and teamwork together.

We started out in 1925 in Poznań as a small workshop, and today we operate from a modern production facility in Jaryszki near Poznań, supplying solutions to over 60 countries. At Apator Powogaz, we have been building a culture based on commitment, cooperation and social responsibility for many years. Supporting charitable initiatives, promoting an active lifestyle and fostering bonds between employees are key aspects of our day-to-day operations.
We regularly get involved in charitable activities – every year we support the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity, we take part in the ‘Szlachetna Paczka’ campaign, preparing gifts for families in need in the Kórnik municipality, and our employees form running teams to compete in the Poland Business Run. We have also supported environmental initiatives on numerous occasions, for example by planting trees and cleaning up the banks of the Warta River.
We also support the development of our teams’ sporting passions. We run the Apator Powogaz cycling section, support our employees’ participation in demanding sporting competitions, and in the summer we encourage everyone to choose cycling as a means of transport – rewarding those who commute to work ‘on two wheels’.
A strong part of our culture is also recognising commitment. Every year we select the “Best of Apator Powogaz” – a competition in which employees vote for the most supportive and dedicated individuals from the production and administration departments.
We also remember our employees’ families. We organise art competitions, company Children’s Days with entertainment, and “Water Days” at our headquarters. To mark the company’s 100th anniversary in 2025, we celebrated together at an outdoor team-building event featuring a concert and many attractions.
We also do not forget our retired staff – we get in touch with them on various holidays and anniversaries and invite them to meetings at the company so that they remain part of our community.
To nurture our business relationships, we also organise Open Days for our customers. This is an opportunity to tour the production facilities and showroom, take part in workshops, and gain a better understanding of what goes on behind the scenes.
In recent years, our work has been recognised with numerous awards, including ‘Good Brand’, ‘Polish Good Brand’ and the Wielkopolska Province Marshal’s Award ‘For Services to the Wielkopolska Province’.
