YES. The CSRD Directive and ESRS standards require companies to report on the impact of their entire value chain — including the activities of their suppliers. We need data from suppliers to calculate our carbon footprint (e.g. Scope 3) and environmental and social indicators.
Sustainability is the result of cooperation across all links in the supply chain. Involving suppliers in the reporting process makes it easier to achieve targets for emissions reduction, the circular economy and social programmes.
We need information and data from our partners to ensure reliable and transparent management of sustainability in our operations.
An increasing number of companies make cooperation conditional on suppliers’ compliance with their own ESG policies. Apator Group companies are also required by their customers to provide various documents to confirm that they effectively manage environmental, social and ethical risks within the supply chain. Furthermore, the ESG report is subject to audit by an auditor, who may also request detailed documentation during the data verification process.
YES. Two of our companies have their own PV installations (Apator Metrix SA and Apator SA), and the Łódź branch of Apator SA uses electricity generated by a PV installation at the office and production premises it rents.
In 2024, at the Apator SA plant in Ostaszewo, we commissioned our own RES for self-consumption, which meets 10–11% of the plant’s electricity demand.
The amount of energy generated from the Group’s own RES installations in 2024 was 150.4 MWh; as a result, the share of Renewable Energy Sources in the Group’s total electricity consumption was approximately 2%.
The Apator Group companies manage their waste in accordance with legal requirements. We strive to minimise the amount of waste and adhere to the highest standards of waste management.
The companies monitor and report data in accordance with applicable regulations and cooperate with recycling organisations. Processes for the return and reuse of plastics are also in place at Apator SA and Apator Powogaz.
The proportion of non-recycled waste in 2024 was approximately 18%. Detailed information on waste management can be found in our ESG reports.
