Report via the Whistleblower scheme

An internal report within the meaning of the Whistleblower Protection Act of 14 June 2024

The procedure for receiving internal reports concerning breaches of the law, as well as the procedure for following up on such reports, are set out in the Internal Reporting and Follow-up Procedures implemented within the companies, in accordance with the provisions of Directive (EU) 2019/1937 of the European Parliament and of the Council (EU) 2019/1937 of 23 October 2019 on the protection of persons reporting breaches of Union law (OJ EU L 305 of 26 November 2019, as amended – hereinafter referred to as the “Directive”) and the Act of 14 June 2024 on the protection of whistleblowers (Journal of Laws of 2024, item 928 – hereinafter referred to as the “Act”), which implemented that Directive.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you have any questions about our sustainability initiatives? In the FAQ section, you’ll find answers that will help you better understand our approach, goals and specific actions.

Do you have any other questions?

Yes. Apator SA is the parent company of a large corporate group which is required to prepare a sustainability report in accordance with the CSRD and ESRS standards. Apator SA meets the thresholds set out in the CSRD in terms of average annual workforce and turnover.

The report is prepared on a consolidated basis (covering all Apator Group companies subject to financial consolidation). The first ESG report (also known as the CSRD and ESRS report) was published in April 2025 (for the 2024 financial year) and has been subject to external verification.

Several dozen people from across the Apator Group are involved in preparing the data for the annual ESG report.

The Apator Group has an ESG Team. Area leaders within the Apator Group are responsible for coordinating the implementation of area-specific policies, activities and objectives, as well as for collecting data in thematic areas. A designated Financial Controller from Apator SA is responsible for the consolidation and verification of quantitative data. The ESG Manager is responsible for coordinating the work, editing and communicating the ESG reports. A designated Member of the Management Board of Apator SA oversees the entire process.

YES. The CSRD Directive and ESRS standards require companies to report on the impact of their entire value chain — including the activities of their suppliers. We need data from suppliers to calculate our carbon footprint (e.g. Scope 3) and environmental and social indicators.

Sustainability is the result of cooperation across all links in the supply chain. Involving suppliers in the reporting process makes it easier to achieve targets for emissions reduction, the circular economy and social programmes.

We need information and data from our partners to ensure reliable and transparent management of sustainability in our operations.

An increasing number of companies make cooperation conditional on suppliers’ compliance with their own ESG policies. Apator Group companies are also required by their customers to provide various documents to confirm that they effectively manage environmental, social and ethical risks within the supply chain. Furthermore, the ESG report is subject to audit by an auditor, who may also request detailed documentation during the data verification process.
