The drive manuals include a section describing the limitations of the internal controllers. The most important of these is the limit of 100 program uploads to this controller. This is sufficient if you have a ready-made program. For the purposes of writing and testing programs, it is recommended to use optional modules with a significantly higher number of program uploads, ranging from at least 100,000 to sometimes a million.
For internal controllers, the development tools are free of charge and can be downloaded from our website.
The older SYPTLite tool is designed for older-generation drives and the Mentor MP drive, which is still available.
The newer Machine Control Studio tool is designed for Unidrive M and Commander C drives
