S120 reduction connection

Reduction connections are available on the market that allow the installation of gas meters where the spacing between the meter connections is smaller than that of the gas pipework. In many cases, however, their application is limited due to their design, which significantly reduces the space available for installing the gas meter, making it impossible to install gas meters with a smaller connection spacing and smaller dimensions.

The Apator Metrix ‘S – 120 mm’ connection addresses these limitations, enabling the installation of gas meters with a smaller connection spacing without the need for reduction of the required installation space. The connection features a body with a channel shaped like the letter S, terminated on one side by a pipe socket and on the other by a pipe socket with a seal and a nut. The reducing connection can be installed on either the inlet side or the outlet side of the gas meters.
Apator Metrix SA in Tczew is the only manufacturer in Poland of ‘S-120 mm’ type reduction connections. The connection was designed by our company’s engineers and is patent-pending.
